Email me your the HTML structure you have thus far. You should be done with the HTML structure for the entrepreneur website. (10 min)

Class Activity:

  1. With your partner read "The Google story". Read from pages 35-45. Take turns reading out loud. After your are done reading, write a one page summary using word document. In your summary please describe key points, information you did not understand, and also tell me what impressed you the most and why. Once you are finish email me your word document. (30 min)

Class Activity:

  1. As a class read "The Google story", pages 30-35. Take turns reading out loud. (15 min)

Start Creating The Entrepreneur Site

Planning Website and Role Play

TELL ME ABOUT IT!!:

Using twitter! tweet something new you learned after you read the first 15 pages of the "Google Story". please no talking while doing this activity and no you cant use your book!

Class Activity:

  1. Finish writing a business letter to an entrepreneur.(15 min)
  2. With your partner review the Project Description and Instructions. Come up with two questions that you want to ask about the project. We will discuss the questions with the entire class (15 min)
  3. Q & A about the project (15 min)
  4. Discuss how you are going to divide the work with your partner (20 min)
  5. Check for H.W completion!!! Those of you who do not have the h.w done will get Detention with me on Monday!! you do not want detention with me.
  • Give three reasons why you are thinking of choosing each of your entrepreneurs? Think about how they would benefit and how the project can help them.
  • With your partner describe how you will approach the entrepreneur and how you will contact the entrepreneur.

How to write a business letter: please read the following article and be ready to discuss with our class, How to write a business letter.

Class Activity:

  1. Discuss writing a business letter to an entrepreneur.
  2. 4th period, we need to choose partners!! ahhhh we are behind!!! 5th period is kicking butt
  3. Brainstorm and Identify 3 entrepreneurs in your community. Two groups can not choose the same entrepreneur.
  • Give three reasons why you are thinking of choosing each of your entrepreneurs? Think about how they would benefit and how the project can help them.
  • With your partner describe how you will approach the entrepreneur and how you will contact the entrepreneur.
  • Be ready to discuss your ideas with the class.

Community Entrepreneur

TELL ME ABOUT IT!!:

If you have $5000 how would you invest it in our communities, while using technology. Give a descriptive detail on how you would leverage the dollars. Explain how the community would benefit. BE CREATIVE!!! BUT NOT CRAZY!!! BE REALISTIC.

Class Activity:

  1. Discuss the "Tell me about it" ( everyone will present their idea)
  2. Finish Calendar Website presentations
  3. Randomly choose "Community Entrepreneur" partner
  4. Discuss "Community Entrepreneur" project!
  5. Brainstorm and Identify 3 entrepreneurs in your community. Two groups can not choose the same entrepreneur.
  • Give three reasons why you are thinking of choosing each of your entrepreneurs? Think about how they would benefit and how the project can help them.
  • With your partner describe how you will approach the entrepreneur and how you will contact the entrepreneur.
