Objective:
Students will review a website's relative path. They will apply their knowledge of creating a path and complete a relative path worksheet.

11/08/07 HTML and Table Review

OBJECTIVE:

  1. Students will reflect on time management and work habits.
  2. Students will create a "table" using HTML code. Student will apply code to their personal website.

AGENDA:

  1. Tell me about it
  2. Discuss Project and Class Expectations
  3. Review HTML Basic Structure
  4. Review "TABLE" element in HTML
  5. Continue Working on website

TELL ME ABOUT IT:

  1. If you dont have Internet Access at home, print out the HTML code from webmonkey.com. (print to lab #4).
  2. Create the basic HTML structure on notepad, save it and name it "tablepractice.html", print it out, show it to me as your EXIT SLIP.
  3. Email me the answer to the following questions: DO YOU FEEL YOU ARE USING YOUR TIME WISELY WHEN WORKING ON PROJECTS FOR THIS CLASS? Are you coming into class straight to work? How can you improve your work habits? explain your answers in complete sentences.

IN CLASS ACTIVITIES:

  1. Add a table to the file "tablepractice.html". Follow my instructions when i start doing it on the board. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION.
  2. CONTINUE WORKING ON HTML CODE.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

  1. I will have office hours today and friday until 4:30pm if you need to finish website. You will have to work extra hard to get it done. WEBSITE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 11/15/07 at the beginning of class.
